Thank you for visiting the Franklin County School’s Website.  We truly believe that our school system is unique.   We are located in a place we call Paradise.  Our school district rests within an eco-system consisting of the Apalachicola River, Apalachicola Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico.  We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such natural beauty.  The employees, community members, business leaders, and volunteers work in partnership to make our school system one to be proud of.

As you search through our website, please visit our campuses:  the Franklin County Learning Center, the Franklin County K-12 School, and the ABC K-8 Charter School.  The Learning Center houses the District Offices, the Alternative Student Program, and the Prekindergarten Program.  Overlooking the Bay, the Franklin County Consolidated School opened in the fall of 2008.  Our goals are to provide a safe learning environment, placing the most qualified teachers in the classrooms, and providing resources for our students that will enable them to be successful members of our community and beyond.

The District Staff is committed to supporting the school system as it strives for a level of excellence.  It is the duty of all involved in this system to provide the best education for the children of Franklin County.
