The Nest is a 21st Century Community Learning Center administered by the Franklin County School District and open to students from Pre-K-8th grade.
The Eastpoint program is housed at the Franklin County Learning Center, located at 85 School Road, and is open from 3:15 – 6:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Carrabelle Municipal Complex site, located at 1001 Gray Avenue, is open from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday Through Friday.
- The 21st CCLC program provides academic enrichment opportunities during non school hours for children. The prorgram is designed to help students meet state and local standards in core academic subjects,in addition it offers students enrichment activities to compliment their regular academic programs.
- The program also offers literacy and other educational services to participating children.
We have an exciting year planned with project-base learing activities and character education. The project based activities will present hands on opportunties to use reading, math, science and technolgy. We will also offer parent involvement and family literacy night activties. Bus transportation is provided to both sites following the final bell.
